Adoption Declaration

This document serves as a formal declaration of adoption and outlines the responsibilities of the adopter in providing lifelong care for the adopted animal. By signing below, the adopter acknowledges and agrees to the following terms:

1. Ownership & Responsibility
   I understand that by adopting this animal, I assume full ownership and responsibility for their care, health, and well-being. I acknowledge that this adoption is permanent and that I am solely responsible for ensuring the animal's needs are met.

2. Commitment to Care
   I agree to provide the adopted animal with a safe, loving, and stable home. I will ensure they receive appropriate veterinary care, a proper diet, adequate shelter, companionship, and regular exercise, as applicable to the species.

3. Respect & Welfare
   I agree to treat the animal with kindness, respect, and compassion. Under no circumstances will I subject them to neglect, abuse, or cruelty. If I am found to have mistreated the animal, I understand that legal action may be taken against me.

4. Follow-Up Check-Ins
   I agree to participate in mandatory follow-up check-ins conducted by Bruno’s Animal Rescue Centre. I will provide an update, including a recent photograph of the animal, at both the one-month and three-month marks after adoption to confirm their continued well-being.

5. No Rehoming Clause
   I understand that the adopted animal may not be sold, given away, or rehomed to another person, organisation, or facility under any circumstances. If I can no longer care for the animal for any reason, I agree to return them exclusively to Bruno’s Animal Rescue Centre. I understand that there will be no repercussions for doing so, except in cases of neglect or abuse.

6. Right to Intervention
   Bruno’s Animal Rescue Centre reserves the right to intervene and reclaim the animal if there is evidence of mistreatment, neglect, or failure to adhere to the agreed terms of this adoption.

By signing below, I confirm that I have read, understood, and agreed to the terms outlined in this declaration. I acknowledge that this is a legally binding agreement between myself and Bruno’s Animal Rescue Centre.
